Chuanxi gas field has added 83 billion cubic meters in proven reserves of natural gas. The latest discovery puts total proven reserves of the gas field so far at 114 billion cubic meters.
Located in the western edge of the Sichuan Basin, the 138-square-km Chuanxi gas field has its main reserves stashed at around 6,000 meters underground.
川西气田新增天然气探明储量830亿立方米。至此，川西气田累计探明储量达1140亿立方米。
川西气田地处四川盆地西缘，气田面积约138平方公里，主力气藏埋深在6000米左右。
