辛弃疾《西江月》英译

西江月

                          （宋）辛弃疾

明月别枝惊鹊，

清风半夜鸣蝉。

稻花香里说丰年，

听取蛙声一片。

七八个星天外，

两三点雨山前。

旧时茅店社林边，

路转溪桥忽见。

A bright moon shining on yonder bough

Alarmed the magpie;

A soft wind in the deep of the night

Made the cicadas sing.

Amid the fragrance of young rice shoots

There is talk of a bumper year.

I heard frogs croaking, here, there, everywhere.

Seven, eight stars shining in yonder sky;

A few drops of rain this side of thie hill.

At the old straw-hut general store,

By the side of the communal woods,

The road turns, and suddenly the creek bridge comes in view.
