于不可已而已者，无所不已。于所厚者薄，无所不薄也。其进锐者，其退速。
If one stops the work that should not be stopped, there is nothing that can not be stopped. If one unkindly trats the person who should be treated kindly, there is nobody who can not be treated unkindly. Those who make too fiece and sudden progress would also retreat quickly.
